You can add new users by clicking on the “Add User“ button from the right side.
Check the Validation list for validation ules of First name, Last name and Email address.
The Email address domain part either has the domain set if there is only one domain registered or you need to select one the registered domains if more are possible to set.
For the Country of the user please choose a value from the list of possible countries.
For Language please set the preferred language of the user from the list of possible languages.
As last there is a “Password“ section which is shown only if your Policy allows Visma Connect IdP ( Email address as username + password) for authentication.
The Password section offers 2 options:
Auto-generate a one-time password:
Once you click the button “Add user“ from inside the Add user modal view, you will get presented with a one-time password generated for this user. You need to “Copy“ the password and send it to the user, there is no email sent by us with this one-time password to the user email inbox. The user will be able to use this password for authentication with Visma Connect IdP once and right after that he will need to set a new password by using the one-time password as current password.
Send account activation email to user:
Once you click the button “Add user“ from inside the Add user modal view,
The user will receive this type of email on his inbox, with a link to set a password, valid for 24 hours. If the link expires, the user can request a new link
If the link expires, the user will get the option to request a new valid link from within the screen:
When clicking on “Click here to request a new valid link“, the user will get this screen where he needs to pass Ra-Captcha check and will receive on inbox an email with the subject “Change password request“
