Visma Authenticator is the 2FA (Two-Factor Authentication) mobile application for applications using Visma Connect for sign-in.
It enhances your account security by sending 2FA Push notifications to your mobile application during login to verify its you doing the login. It can also generate 6-digit security codes for you to enter during login should you prefer that option instead of push notifications.
2FA push notifications offer seamless integration and instant accessibility. After entering your password, you receive a prompt on your mobile device, eliminating the need to open an authenticator app, locate the correct account, and manually enter a code.
With a simple tap, you can approve or deny login attempts. This approach enhances your user experience by reducing friction during login while maintaining robust security measures.
Should you still prefer 6 digit security codes with other Authenticator apps you can also opt to use Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator and alike - then Push notifications are not supported.
