Access point
Account Settings is your self-service portal for managing your Visma Connect identity. It gives you one place to keep your personal details up to date, manage how you sign in, monitor account access, control your data and privacy, and review the applications linked to your account, all protected by your Single Sign-on (SSO) experience with Connect.
Profile
Manage the personal details attached to your Visma account:
Name & Profile Picture: Edit your first and last name, and upload a profile picture with built-in cropping and zoom. You can remove or replace your picture at any time.
Email Address: View your registered email address with its verification status. Click Change to update it. You will receive a confirmation link at your new address to complete the change.
Recovery Emails: Add one or more backup email addresses to help you regain access to your account. Each address is verified with a 6-digit code sent to your inbox.
Phone Numbers: Add phone numbers for two-factor authentication via SMS. Each number is verified with a code sent by text message, and you can choose which number is your primary.
Language & Country: Choose your preferred language and country. Your language choice applies immediately across your Visma experience.
Sign-in & security
Manage everything about how you sign in and keep your account secure:
Passkeys: Add passkeys for fast, phishing-resistant sign-in using Touch ID, Face ID, Windows Hello, or a security key. You can name each passkey, see when it was last used, and remove ones you no longer need.
Go Passwordless: Once you have at least one passkey, you can disable your password entirely and use passkeys as your only sign-in method for maximum security.
Password: See when your password was last changed, and update it at any time.
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA): Add an extra layer of protection to your account with a single switch. Once enabled, you can manage your methods:
Authenticator App: Sign in with 6-digit codes from an authenticator app. You can register additional devices by scanning a QR code.
SMS Verification: Receive verification codes by text message to your registered phone number.
App Prompt (Visma Authenticator): Approve sign-ins with a simple tap on your phone using the Visma Authenticator app.
Recovery Code: Generate a one-time recovery code to keep somewhere safe. It is your way back in if you ever lose access to your 2FA device.
Electronic ID: Link a national electronic identity, such as BankID (Norway, Sweden, Finland) or MitID (Denmark), to your account for strong, government-grade identification.
Devices & activity
Monitor where and how your account is being accessed:
Active Sessions: See every device where you are currently signed in, including browser, location, and last activity, with your current device clearly marked. Sign out of an individual session, or use Sign out all other devices to end every session except the one you are using.
Login History: Review your most recent sign-ins, including device, browser, location, and time, so you can spot anything unusual.
Data & privacy
Stay in control of your personal data:
Terms of Service & Privacy Statement: Quick access to the terms and privacy statement that apply to your account.
Download Your Data: Export a copy of the personal data stored about you, including your profile information, contact details, sign-in activity, and linked applications. You will see a summary of what the file contains before downloading.
Delete Your Account: Permanently delete your Visma account. Because this action cannot be undone, you are asked to type a confirmation keyword before the deletion starts. You will be signed out immediately, and it may take some time before all linked services are fully disconnected.
Linked applications
Get a complete overview of the applications that have access to your account:
Your Application List: See every linked application in one alphabetical list, including its logo, name, and when you last signed in to it. Third-party applications are clearly marked with a badge.
Manage Consent: For each application, review exactly which permissions you have granted (such as access to your profile or email) and when you gave consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time. You can still sign in to the application afterwards; only the data-sharing consent is withdrawn.
Manage Offline Access: Some applications can access your account while you are not actively signed in. You can review each of these access grants, including when it started and when it was last used, and revoke them individually.
Your Security, Verified
For sensitive changes, such as adding a passkey, changing your email, or signing out other devices, you will occasionally be asked to verify your identity again. This quick re-authentication ensures that it is really you making the change, even if you left your screen unattended.
