Users overview
These statistics offer valuable insights into user authentication patterns and security feature adoption of users. Encouraging greater use of 2FA and addressing inactive accounts can improve both security and user engagement. To view detailed user statistics, navigate to the My Applications page, select the desired application (Web, SPA, or Native), and go to the Users section.
Total users indicates all users who have created an account, whether they actively sign in or remain inactive.
Total users with passkey(s) indicates the number of users who have adopted passkeys as an authentication method. Passkeys are a passwordless, phishing-resistant credential that enhances security by leveraging public-key cryptography. Users with passkeys can log in securely without needing a traditional password.
Total users with password indicates the number of users who authenticate using a traditional password. These users may or may not have additional security features enabled, such as Two-Factor Authentication (2FA). Password authentication remains a common method but is more vulnerable to security risks if not paired with extra protections.
Total users with 2FA enabled shows how many users have activated Two-Factor Authentication (2FA), an additional security layer that requires a second verification step alongside a password. Enabling 2FA significantly reduces the risk of unauthorized access.
Percentage of users with password who have 2FA enabled highlights the proportion of password-based users who have opted for additional security by enabling 2FA. A higher percentage indicates better security adoption, while a lower percentage suggests room for improvement in encouraging users to enhance their account protection.
Total users with push enabled indicates the number of users who have activated push authentication, a method where users receive a push notification on their mobile device to approve or deny login attempts. Push authentication enhances security and user experience by providing a seamless yet secure way to verify identity without needing to enter a code manually.
Percentage of users without any sign-in activity represents the number of registered users who have never signed in. A high percentage of inactive users may indicate account abandonment, potential security risks (if old credentials are compromised), or the need for re-engagement strategies like email reminders or incentives to log in.
Users’ graphs
1. Month-by-month Graph
This chart provides a breakdown of user data for each month over a selected period, displaying values for individual months in chronological order. The data is based on the number of distinct users at the time of the report.
Users can toggle dataset visibility by clicking on legend items at the top of the chart.
2. Month-over-month Growth Graph
This chart highlights the month-to-month change in user numbers, showing the increase or decrease compared to the previous month. The calculation is based on the number of distinct users at the time of reporting.
Users can toggle dataset visibility by clicking on legend items at the top of the chart.
3. Users' Last Active Status Graph
This chart tracks the last recorded activity of users, along with the authentication methods they used. It displays the number of users who were last active in a given month, with each user counted only in the month of their most recent sign-in.
Users can toggle dataset visibility by clicking on legend items at the top of the chart.
Note:
The Users overview provides a real-time snapshot of the current state of user authentication statistics, regardless of any time period selected. In contrast, the graph dynamically adjusts based on the chosen interval, displaying historical data and changes within the specified timeframe.
