Access and investigation guide for executions

What you'll need

Read-only (Viewer) access to the relevant team in Flows. Viewer access lets you see execution history and inputs/outputs.

Getting access

  1. Ask an administrator of the owning team (usually the team manager or service owner) to add you to the team with the Viewer role. You can't add yourself; someone with admin rights on the team has to do this first.

    What the administrator does:

    a. Opens Flows and goes to the My Team page.

    b. Clicks the Add member button. (This button is only visible to administrators, so if they don't see it, they aren't an admin of that team.)

    c. In the Add team member dialog, enters your email address and selects Viewer from the Role dropdown (the options are Administrator, Editor, Viewer).

    d. Clicks Add member to confirm. You'll then appear in the Team members list with the Viewer role.

  1. Once you've been added, sign in to Flows with your normal Visma account. You should now see the team and its flows in read-only mode.

  2. If you belong to more than one organization: use Change organization in the top-right user menu to switch to the team that owns the relevant flows. Executions are scoped per team, so make sure you're viewing the right one.

Finding what happened

1. Open the flow related to the case.

You may not know exactly which flow is responsible for what you're investigating — there can be many. Look for one with a name that suggests it's related to your case. If nothing looks obviously related, it's worth checking with the team that owns that flow— they'll be able to point you to the right one.

2.Go to Workflow executions (in the left navigation of the flow) to open the execution logs and find the information you need. For details on how to search and filter the logs, see the Execution logs article.
