Understanding User Statistics

Prev Next

The User Statistics screen in Visma Connect helps you see how users sign in to your application and what authentication methods they use. This can help you track security adoption and understand user behavior over time.

This guide explains how to access and use this screen.

Where to find User Statistics

To open the User Statistics screen:

  • Log in to the Developer Portal.

  • Go to My Applications and select your app.

  • In the left-hand menu, click Users.

This opens the page with an overview of sign-in activity and authentication methods such as passwords, 2FA, and passkeys.

Using the filters and overview

At the top of the screen, select a date range using the From and To filters.

On the left, you will see an overview of:

  • The users connected to your app

  • Key security statistics, such as how they sign in and how many have 2FA or passkeys enabled

Understanding the chart views

At the top-right corner, there are three buttons to switch between different chart views:

Month-by-month

This view shows user actions over time. You can see when users were added to the app, when passwords or 2FA were re-enabled, when push 2FA or passkeys were enabled, and when emergency codes were issued or used.

You can click the legend above the chart to show or hide specific data.

Month-over-month Growth

This view shows how user numbers change from one month to the next. It helps you see trends such as growing 2FA adoption or passkey usage. Use the legend to focus on the metrics you want to analyze.

Users last active

This view shows which sign-in methods users actually used. It helps you understand what authentication methods are most common in your app.
