# Get Your Client Secret

> [!NOTE]
> **Client secrets** are only needed for **Web** and **Service** type applications.

You can manage the application secrets from the **Credentials** page. By default, we don't generate a secret for applications after publish. To create a secret for your application press the **Generate secret** button. Once generated, the secret will be displayed. **You have to copy the secret since it will not be available afterwards.**
